Unpleasant Story with TMI

A couple of weeks ago Ethan was sick with some stomach bug. He only puked once but it seemed like everything that he ate was running through him.

I thought we were over the worst of it and badly needed to get a few items from the grocery store so I decided to make the trip. When we got to Smiths he told me that he needed to go pee................For those of you with a sensitive stomach stop reading Well since he isn't tall enough to reach over the toilet yet I usually just let him stand on my feet to give him a couple more inches. Well let me tell you this was a bad idea as he went diarreah all over the front of my pants. I just had to get paper towells and wipe my pants off the best that I could. Then I finished my shopping trip with wet stinky pants. I wanted to go straight home the second it happened but since we don't live close to town I knew I needed to just get it done. The good news is that my pants were almost dry when we got home.

Goodby to Jasper

Around 5 our neighbor knocked on our door and showed me that Jasper was laying in the road in front of our house dead. :( I'm so sad. I'm going to miss him. He was my faithful running companion. On Monday when we ran his fur was covered with frost when we got back because it was so cold. I got him so food and petted him and told him what a great running friend he is.
He was such a smart dog he knew all of the turn around points when I would run. He would stop and wait for me at every one of them and if I kept going he would lick my leg and then keep running with me. I hate to be licked and he would always sneak and lick me whenever possible. Every time I was getting into the van he would lick my jeans.

I always felt safe running with him because people are so scared of him and I know he would have protected me if I'd needed it.

We are going to get another dog but I can't imagine that we will ever get one that is as great of a companion as Jasper. Jasper was such a loving dog.

I didn't go out to the road to see Jasper. I've seen other animals laying in the road dead before, and I didn't want to remember him that way. Austin went out with Tyler to see him. It appears that one of those semi trucks that carry cattle hit him. They whip by our house a lot going fast. We live on a gravel road but some of them still get up to 60.

Spencer, Jemma (my SIL), and I stayed in the house and cried. I'll miss my faithful loving friend.

Yesterday my little Brig turned 1! It is so hard to see my baby growing up and to know that I might not have any more :(

Here is a pic of me a year ago on Christmas

Here is a pic of me now

Here is a Pic of my little Brig when he was born

Here is a pic of my little Brig on his first Birthday.
What a sweet peaceful baby my little Brig is. I know Heavenly Father sent him to be a part of our family.
In November I finally broke down and gave Brig a haircut. I didn't want to because I knew he would look more grown up with his hair cut and he does.

So much time has gone by and I haven't really had a lot of time to do some updates. First off I need to add that one reason that Ethan was so crabby on Christmas was that he had his tonsils out on the 12th of December.

My sweet Austin turned 8 the day after Christmas. He got a slot car race track for his birthday. I think he played with it the whole day. It was a lot of fun.

On the 3rd of January my little Austin was baptized. He is really such a great kid. He even fasted on Sunday and bore his testimony.

I pray that he will stay my sweet Austin.
