Hepworth Family

A couple of weeks ago Ethan was sick with some stomach bug. He only puked once but it seemed like everything that he ate was running through him. I thought we were over the worst of it and badly needed to get a few items from the grocery store so I decided to make the trip. When we got to Smiths he told me that he needed to go pee................For those of you with a sensitive stomach stop reading here....lol. Well since he isn't tall enough to reach over the toilet yet I usually just let him stand on my feet to give him a couple more inches. Well let me tell you this was a bad idea as he went diarreah all over the front of my pants. I just had to get paper towells and wipe my pants off the best that I could. Then I finished my shopping trip with wet stinky pants. I wanted to go straight home the second it happened but since we don't live close to town I knew I needed to just get it done. The good news is that my pants were almost dry when we got home.

Around 5 our neighbor knocked on our door and showed me that Jasper was laying in the road in front of our house dead. :( I'm so sad. I'm going to miss him. He was my faithful running companion. On Monday when we ran his fur was covered with frost when we got back because it was so cold. I got him so food and petted him and told him what a great running friend he is. He was such a smart dog he knew all of the turn around points when I would run. He would stop and wait for me at every one of them and if I kept going he would lick my leg and then keep running with me. I hate to be licked and he would always sneak and lick me whenever possible. Every time I was getting into the van he would lick my jeans. I always felt safe running with him because people are so scared of him and I know he would have protected me if I'd needed it. We are going to get another dog but I can't imagine that we will ever get one that is as great of a companion as Jasper. Jasper was such a lovin...

Yesterday my little Brig turned 1! What a sweet peaceful baby my little Brig is. I know Heavenly Father sent him to be a part of our family.

So much time has gone by and I haven't really had a lot of time to do some updates. First off I need to add that one reason that Ethan was so crabby on Christmas was that he had his tonsils out on the 12th of December. My sweet Austin turned 8 the day after Christmas. He got a slot car race track for his birthday. I think he played with it the whole day. It was a lot of fun. On the 3rd of January my little Austin was baptized. He is really such a great kid. He even fasted on Sunday and bore his testimony. I pray that he will stay my sweet Austin.
